DRACUT — Chief Peter Bartlett reports that the Dracut Police Department is seeking public assistance as they investigate an incident in which a woman was found injured on Pleasant Street.
On Monday, Feb. 26, at approximately 10:24 p.m., Dracut Police were called to the area of 23 Pleasant St., for a report of a woman down in the roadway.
Officers arrived to discover a 33-year-old woman suffering from injuries that appeared to be serious. The woman was taken to a local hospital and later transferred to a Boston area trauma center.
A subsequent investigation has yet to determine exactly what happened to the woman, so Dracut Police are asking members of the public who may have witnessed anything to contact investigators by calling Dracut Police at 978-957-2123.
