DRACUT — Police Chief Peter Bartlett and Fire Chief Richard Patterson report that the Dracut Police and Fire Departments are responding to a serious crash on Route 110, and urging drivers to avoid the area.
On Saturday, Jan. 20, at approximately 9 p.m., the Dracut Police and Fire Departments were called to the area of 1020 Merrimack Avenue (Route 110) for a report of a crash.
First responders arrived to discover a four-vehicle crash, with with multiple serious injuries.
Route 110 is expected to remain closed for several hours as an investigation begins. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
The crash is under investigation by the Dracut Police Department, with assistance from the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
