Police Chief Peter Bartlett and the Dracut Police Department were honored to play a role Saturday morning, as Old Home Day began with a remembrance of Capt. John Ogonowski, all those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001, and all the first responders and soldiers who gave their lives in service to our country afterward.
The Dracut Police Department was proud to stand with the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office, the Dracut Fire Department, Boy Scout Troop 80, Rep. Lori Trahan, the Town of Dracut, and the Dracut Old Home Day Committee as a day of fun and community began with memories we must always hold close.
Old Home Day continues Saturday until 5 p.m., with food, games, a classic car show, and more at the Englesby Elementary School, 1580 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, MA.
